Some Blogging Questions to Answer Before Beginning

Before you begin implementing a blog in your classroom, you need to understand what it is you want from the blog. What are you expecting to happen with using a blog in your classroom? It definitely is important to understand how to use a blog, don't get me wrong, but it is also important to know what you are going to be doing with it. Think about these two questions:

• What are you going to do on the blog?
• What are you going to do with the blog?

It may take some time before you can answer these questions. It is, however, important to have a plan for implementation. You want to think about the use of technology and also the importance of the content you are teaching. How are these two going to connect to each other?
